wind-shear detection and recovery guidance system

wind-shear detection and recovery guidance system
An autonomous system onboard aircraft that detects wind shear and advises the pilot of the recovery action. The system operates through a flight detector system. It compares the rate of change of the ground speed, which is measured through accelerometers, and the rate of change of the indicated air speed, which is obtained by taking the inputs from pitot and static sources. The recovery guidance is displayed via the flight director through the pilot’s attitude indicator or the EFIS (electronic flight instrument system) primary display.
